Moments from Indonesia-Thailand Friendship and Cultural Exchange Program part one

Thailand, you are now my second country. The story is very long. It started when I apply for ITFCP in the final application day, February 28th 2014. March, 1st, I got a message to go to the 2nd test. It was not easy because I had to get down from Jambore SAR in Turgo, near Kaliurang. So in that day, I went uphill, downhill, and uphill again. The test was interview and art performance. The interview, as usual, had the typical interview questions, like what is your profile, good side, bad side, and what makes them have to accept you, but answering these question is always not typical.
Surprisingly, March 4th, I got message that I am accepted to the exchange program. I was really happy, and I told my mum first. So from that time, I have some preparations for my exchange. It should be my first experience go abroad.
After finishing permission documents from the faculty, at last I flew to Bangkok, from Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Don Mueang Airport. The flight was troubled a little with the air conditioning system, it was coming back to Jakarta to fix the problem. My arrival to Bangkok was delayed. My friends had been waiting for my group flight for so many hours. After that, we had lunch at a halal restaurant, first lunch abroad !! Cannot be forgotten, insyaAllah :) From the first lunch I knew some Thai words, like nam yen (cold water), nam (water), and nam ron (warm water). I ate clear tom yam, un yen (acar version bihun), cap cay, chicken, and egg. We also sholat there.
After lunch, we went to Bee honey farm. They served us honey drink and chocolates, hmm I liked it very much.
Then we headed to Terminal 21 Mall. Each floor of this mall has a unique characteristic from some countries, like Italy, Japan, England, France, USA, Turkey, and Hawaii. I was with Devie went around the mall. We took so many picture as we could. Sadly, my camera battery was low and we had to use Devie's. Terminal 21 visit end at 18.30 Bangkok local time. At that time, the sun was on the north hemisphere, so at 18.30 right then, was still so bright, and had not turned to maghrib yet. About maghrib time, I didn't hear any adzan.  Surely, because muslim's small number there, only contribute for 10 % citizen. But, as long as I saw people there, I often saw women dressed muslimah, with scarf on their head. (Then I felt the 'trenyuh' feeling of finding the same people like me in distant city where I am not a part of majority. Trenyuh is javanese word of a feeling combination of happy because your heart has been touched, and when your heart are full of trenyuh feeling, your tears can run through your eyes because of your happiness. For example: Trenyuh is the feeling when you hear epic story contains huge moral value you can crying to it. )

sementara ini cukup sekian ya..
maaf sepenggal-sepenggal nulisnya..
